Visiting neighbors

Some neighbors have houses that don’t start with a door with a knob and a bell. They’re invisible if you’re looking for an old fashioned rectangle. I visit often, seeing how much they’ve changed. These neighbors are difficult to describe and harder to render, so to most folk I’m a goof who likes to hike and paint.

This site shares my attempts of capturing the sense of being/s that live in the landscapes near Lake Erie. They’re agency intrigues me and are my company forever. My portfolio has watercolor and letterpress projects that I make at the historic Roycroft, as well as medieval inspired illuminations.

If you feel compelled by what you experience here, I’m always up for conversation.
